DESCRIPTION
This DTC is stored when the clearance warning ECU assembly receives an ambient temperature sensor malfunction signal from the air conditioning amplifier assembly via CAN communication.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
Note
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.
Depending on the parts that are replaced during vehicle inspection or maintenance,performing initialization may be needed. Refer to Calibration.
PROCEDURE
CHECK DTC OUTPUT
Clear the DTCs.
Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

Tech Tips
This DTC is stored when a malfunction occurs in the air conditioning system.
If troubleshooting and repair of a malfunction in the air conditioning system has been completed, DTC C1652 will not be output again when rechecking for DTCs.
If DTC C1652 is output frequently, duplicate the conditions that caused the problem symptoms and perform the inspection again, even though DTCs were not output when rechecking for DTCs.
