THERMOSTAT REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

  2. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose.

  3. REMOVE NO. 4 WATER BY-PASS PIPE

      Slide the clip and disconnect the water by-pass hose.

    2. A116608

      Remove the bolt and No. 4 water by-pass pipe.

    3. Remove the O-ring from the No. 4 water by-pass pipe.

  4. REMOVE WATER INLET

      Remove the 3 bolts and water inlet.

  5. REMOVE THERMOSTAT

    1. A117759

      Remove the thermostat.

    2. Remove the gasket from the thermostat.
