LIGHTING SYSTEM


  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS

    Component Function
    Main Body ECU (Multiplex Network Body ECU)
    • Receives various signals and illuminates the daytime running lights*1.

    • Receives various signals and transmits the daytime running light control signal*2.

    Headlight ECU Sub-assembly LH/RH*2 Receives daytime running light control signal and illuminates the daytime running lights.

    No. 1 Engine Room Relay Block and No. 1 Junction Block Assembly


    • DRL Relay*1

    Supplies power to the daytime running lights.

    Turn Signal Switch


    • Light Control Switch

    Outputs a light control switch signal.
    Steering Sensor Receives light control switch signal from the turn signal switch and transmits it to the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).

    Brake Actuator Assembly


    • Skid Control ECU

    Outputs a parking brake operation signal to the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).

    1. Operating Condition


      1. The daytime running lights illuminate when the following conditions are met.


        • The ignition switch is ON.

        • The light control switch is in the AUTO position (and the taillights are not turned on via the automatic light control system).

        • The parking brake operation signal is off.
