EXHAUST MANIFOLD REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL

  2. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP AND HOSE

    Click here

  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL LH

      Remove the 7 clips and front fender apron seal.

  7. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL RH

    1. A223336

      Remove the 4 clips and front fender apron seal.

  8. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 FENDER APRON TO FRAME SEAL LH

      Remove the 5 clips and front No. 1 fender apron to frame seal.

  9. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 FENDER APRON TO FRAME SEAL RH

    1. A223337

      Remove the 5 clips and front No. 1 fender apron to frame seal.

  10. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

  11. REMOVE MANIFOLD STAY

    1. A221486

      Remove the 3 bolts and manifold stay.

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

    1. A222188

      Remove the 3 bolts and No. 1 exhaust manifold heat insulator.

  13. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

      Remove the 6 nuts, exhaust manifold and gasket.

  14. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 1)

  15. REMOVE NO. 2 MANIFOLD STAY

      Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 manifold stay.

  16. REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

    1. A221484

      Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 exhaust manifold heat insulator.

  17. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

    2. A222093

      Remove the 6 nuts, exhaust manifold and gasket.

  18. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 1)
