DESCRIPTION

The following DTCs are stored when a malfunction occurs in the parking brake ECU assembly.

C13A0/11 Open in Power Supply Relay Circuit

Both of following conditions are met:


  1. Engine switch on (IG) or electric parking brake switch (integration control and panel assembly) pulled to lock side with engine switch off.

  2. Parking brake ECU assembly's power source relay is open for approx. 0.5 sec.

 Parking brake ECU assembly Yes An electric parking brake system malfunction is displayed on the multi-information display.
C13A5/41 Electric Current of Motor

Both of following conditions are met:


  1. Engine switch on (IG) or electric parking brake switch (integration control and panel assembly) pulled to lock side with engine switch off.

  2. Parking brake ECU assembly's internal current is abnormal for approximately 0.1 to 0.5 seconds (differs according to malfunction contents).

 Parking brake ECU assembly Yes An electric parking brake system malfunction is displayed on the multi-information display.
C13B0 Electric Parking Brake ECU Malfunction

Both of following conditions are met:


  1. Engine switch on (IG) or electric parking brake switch (integration control and panel assembly) pulled to lock side with engine switch off.

  2. Internal current of parking brake ECU assembly or ECU components abnormal for a maximum of 60 seconds (differs according to malfunction contents).

 Parking brake ECU assembly Yes An electric parking brake system malfunction is displayed on the multi-information display.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note

When replacing the parking brake ECU assembly, operate the electric parking brake switch (integration control and panel assembly), as the parking brake indicator light (red) blinks when the engine switch is first turned on (IG).

  1. REPLACE PARKING BRAKE ECU ASSEMBLY
