  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. The ECM uses the park/neutral position switch to detect the shift lever position.

    2. The park/neutral position switch sends the P, R, N and D position signals to both the ECM. The ECM transmits signals to the combination meter assembly for the shift position indicator lights (P, R, N and D) in response to the signals received from the switch.
