DESCRIPTION

  • If the auto up/down function does not operate, the cause may be one or more of the following:

  • The ECU in the door window regulator determines that the door window regulator has not been initialized.

  • The rear power window regulator switch RH has a malfunction.

  • The Hall IC in the door window regulator has a malfunction.

  • There is an open or short in the wiring between the rear power window regulator switch RH and the door window regulator.

  2. CHECK MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION (REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH)

    1. Check that the manual up/down function using the rear power window regulator switch RH can operate the rear door power window RH (Click here).

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Disconnect the L1 switch connector.

    2. Disconnect the L3 regulator connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
