Use the following procedure to troubleshoot the simple intelligent parking assist system.

CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS
When troubleshooting, confirm that the problem symptoms have been accurately identified. Preconceptions should be discarded in order to make an accurate judgment. To clearly understand what the problem symptoms are, it is extremely important to ask the customer about the problem and the conditions at the time the malfunction occurred.
Gather as much information as possible for reference. Past problems that seem unrelated may also help in some cases.
The following 5 items are important points for problem analysis:

INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE
Measure the battery voltage.
Standard Voltage
11 to 14 V
Tip:If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding to the next step.

CHECK WARNING MESSAGE ON MULTI-INFORMATION DISPLAY
Check if a warning message was displayed on the multi-information display when the malfunction occurred.

Check the Data List for the following abnormality history items, and explain to the customer that the vehicle is not malfunctioning and ask them to use the vehicle as is.

Invalid EPS Record during IPA SW-ON
The power steering system temporarily overheated.
The simple intelligent parking assist system returns to normal when the steering wheel is not operated and the engine idles for 30 minutes with following conditions:

The air conditioning system is on (MAX COLD and FACE mode)

Close the front register and side register ducts
Tire pressure and tire wear
Power source voltage supplied to the power steering system dropped.
Battery voltage (The simple intelligent parking assist system returns to normal when the battery voltage is 12 V or more.)
History of IPA Cancel due to Lo Power
Power source voltage supplied to the simple intelligent parking assist system dropped.
Battery voltage (The simple intelligent parking assist system returns to normal when the battery voltage is 10 V or more.)
The IPA main switch assembly was pressed without the engine started.
Ignition switch condition when the IPA main switch assembly is pressed.
History of IPA Cancel due to Large Current
Malfunction is due to tire conditions or usage conditions, such as on rough roads or steep hills, while the simple intelligent parking assist system was operating.

Usage conditions
History of IPA Cancel due to Deviation in Steering Angle
History of IPA Cancel due to Going Off Course
Clear the DTCs.
Tip:Clearing the DTCs will reset the abnormality history.
