SEAT BELT WARNING SYSTEM CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS

PROCEDURE

  1. CUSTOMIZE SEAT BELT WARNING SYSTEM

    Note:

    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.

    • Record the current settings before customizing.

    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Utility / Customize Setting.

    5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

      Driver Side Seatbelt Warning Buzzer

      ON

      If the driver side seat belt is unfastened and the vehicle is driven at approximately 20 km/h (12.5 mph) or more, the system sounds the seat belt warning buzzer.

      ON/OFF

      Front Passenger Side Seatbelt Warning Buzzer

      ON

      If the front passenger side seat belt is unfastened with the front passenger seat occupied, and the vehicle is driven at approximately 20 km/h (12.5 mph) or more, the system sounds the seat belt warning buzzer.

      ON/OFF

      Rear Seatbelt Warning Buzzer*

      ON

      After a rear door is opened and closed, if a rear seat belt is unfastened and the vehicle is driven at approximately 20 km/h (12.5 mph) or more, the system sounds the seat belt warning buzzer.
