REAR DOOR OUTSIDE MOULDING REMOVAL

Tip:
  • Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

  • The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE REAR DOOR LOWER OUTSIDE MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    Tip:

    When removing the rear door lower outside moulding, heat the rear door panel and rear door lower outside moulding using a heatlight.

    40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)

    Rear Door Lower Outside Moulding

    20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

    Note:

    Do not heat the rear door panel and rear door lower outside moulding excessively.

      Detach the 6 clips.

    2. B338452

      Remove the hole plug and nut.

      Protective Tape

      *2

      Double-side Tape

      Put protective tape around the rear door lower outside moulding sub-assembly LH.

    4. Using moulding remover D, remove the double-side tape to detach the 7 clips and remove the rear door lower outside moulding sub-assembly LH.

      Note:

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
