REAR BUMPER(for Hatchback) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE REAR LICENSE PLATE SUPPORT BRACKET (w/ Bracket)

    1. B411045

      Remove the 2 screws and rear license plate support bracket.

  2. REMOVE REAR LICENSE PLATE CUSHION (w/ Bracket)

      Remove the 2 rear license plate cushions.

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/o TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    1. Disengage the clamp to remove the No. 2 luggage room wire.

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    1. Disconnect the 4 connectors.

      Adhesive Tape

      -

      -

    2. Remove the adhesive tape from the rear bumper assembly.

    3. Disengage the 5 clamps to remove the No. 2 luggage room wire.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  7. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH

      Disengage the 6 claws and remove the rear bumper extension sub-assembly LH.

    2. B410090

      Remove the screw.

    3. Disengage the claw.

    4. Disengage the guide to remove the reflex reflector assembly LH.

  8. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER MOULDING

    1. B410091

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. B410092

      Disengage the 10 claws to remove the rear bumper extension with rear bumper moulding.

    3. B410093

      Disengage the 10 claws to remove the rear bumper moulding from the rear bumper extension.

  10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

    1. B405553

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the rear bumper side retainer LH.

  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  12. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

  13. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  14. REMOVE UPPER REAR BUMPER RETAINER LH

      Remove the screw and upper rear bumper retainer LH.

  15. REMOVE UPPER REAR BUMPER RETAINER RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  16. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH

      Remove the 3 clips and rear bumper side seal LH.

  17. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH

    1. B329271

      Remove the 3 clips and rear bumper side seal RH.

  18. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

    1. B333615

      Remove the 8 bolts and No. 1 rear bumper reinforcement.

  19. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. B333616

      Remove the 3 bolts and rear bumper arm sub-assembly LH.

  20. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
