ACCUMULATOR ASSEMBLY(for V35A-FTS) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. AIR SUSPENSION CONTROL PROHIBITED (w/ Air Suspension)

  2. RELEASE ACCUMULATOR WITH SOLENOID ASSEMBLY INTERNAL PRESSURE

    Note

    If the accumulator with solenoid assembly is removed without first releasing the internal pressure, the automatic transmission fluid may spray out.


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3 with the engine switch off.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the GTS on.

    3. Enter the following menus Powertrain / Stop and Start / Active Test / Accumulator Drive


      Powertrain > Stop and Start > Active Test
      Tester Display
      Accumulator Drive
    4. Turn the accumulator operation on and release the pressure in the accumulator with solenoid assembly.

      Note

      Not available when the engine is running.

      Tech Tips

      By turning the accumulator operation on for 5 seconds, the internal pressure can be released.

    5. Turn the engine switch off and remove the GTS.

  3. REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE ACCUMULATOR WITH SOLENOID ASSEMBLY

      Using a screwdriver, disconnect the connector of the accumulator with solenoid assembly shown in the illustration.

    2. B006GSY

      Remove the 4 bolts accumulator with solenoid assembly from the automatic transmission case sub-assembly.

    3. B006FGE

      Remove the O-ring from the accumulator with solenoid assembly.

  5. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL PIPE

      Remove the transmission oil pipe from the accumulator with solenoid assembly.

      Remove the O-ring from the transmission oil pipe.
