  1. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS

    1. The main components in the illuminated entry system have the following functions:

      Front Door Courtesy Light Switch Assembly (LH/RH)

      Detects whether the doors are open or closed and sends this information to the combination meter assembly.

      Rear Door Courtesy Light Switch Assembly (LH/RH)*1

      Back Window Lock Assembly*2

      Combination Meter Assembly

      Turns off each light using signals from each switch.

    1. The illuminated entry system has the following function:

      Lights that Operate

      Battery Saving

      • When 20 minutes elapse after the ignition switch is turned from ON to off or ACC and the lights that operate remain on, the lights are turned off.

      • The battery saving function is canceled when either of the following operations is performed before the lights are turned off by the function. After the operation is performed, the lights remain on for another 20 minutes and then the lights are turned off.

        • Any door is opened and closed

        • The back door is opened and closed*
