    1. Windshield Deicer System (Models with Windshield Deicer System)


      1. The windshield deicer system uses a heater element in the windshield glass to help reduce the formation of ice where the front wipers park.

      2. This system is controlled by the air conditioning amplifier assembly*1 or air conditioning control assembly*2.


        • *1: Models with automatic air conditioning system

        • *2: Models with manual cooler system, manual air conditioning system and manual heater system

    2. Rear Window Defogger System (Models with Rear Window Defogger System)


      1. The rear window defogger system uses the heater wires on the back window glass to defog the back window glass.

      2. This system is controlled by the air conditioning amplifier assembly*1 or air conditioning control assembly*2.


        • *1: Models with automatic air conditioning system

        • *2: Models with manual cooler system, manual air conditioning system and manual heater system

    Tech Tips

    The windshield deicer system, rear window defogger system and mirror heater system are all controlled simultaneously.
