DESCRIPTION

Power is supplied to the fold seat control ECU through the ECU-B NO.1, P/SEAT R/R, P/SEAT R/L and ECU-IG NO.1 fuses.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FOLD SEAT CONTROL ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

    *A Rear Right Seat
    *B Rear Left Seat
    *a Front view of wire harness connector (to Fold Seat Control ECU)

    1. Rear Right Seat:

      Disconnect the h3 and h4 fold seat control ECU connectors.

    2. Rear Left Side:

      Disconnect the i3 and i4 fold seat control ECU connectors.

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Rear Right Seat
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      h4-1 (IND1) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      h4-2 (+B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      h3-1 (ECUB) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      h3-3 (IG) - Body ground Engine switch off Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      Rear Left Seat
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      i4-1 (IND1) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      i4-2 (+B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      i3-1 (ECUB) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      i3-3 (IG) - Body ground Engine switch off Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Rear Right Seat

      h4-10 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      h4-9 (GND2) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      h3-40 (IND2) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
