HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY(for HID Headlight) REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Tip:

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE

  1. PRECAUTION

    Note:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Click here).

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click here).

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

    (Click here)

  4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY TOP LH

    1. Remove the 2 clips.

    2. Detach the 2 claws to remove the front fender reinforcement sub-assembly top LH.

  5. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Put protective tape around the headlight assembly LH.

    2. Remove the bolt and 2 screws.

    3. Detach the claw.

    4. Disconnect each connector to remove the headlight assembly LH.
