DESCRIPTION

The combination meter receives hazard warning signal switch information signals and illuminates the hazard warning light(s).

1. READ VALUE USING GTS (HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH)

   
   

   1. Using the GTS, read the Data List Click here.

   INSPECT HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH Click here

2. INSPECT HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH

   
   

   1. Remove the hazard warning signal switch Click here.

   2. Inspect the hazard warning signal switch Click here.

   
   

   NG

   REPLACE HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH Click here

   OK

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH - COMBINATION METER AND BODY GROUND)

   
   

   1. Disconnect the H9 hazard warning signal switch connector.

   2. Disconnect the H20 combination meter connector.

   3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition H9-3 - H20-28 (HAZ) Always Below 1 Ω H9-4 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω H9-3 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
