REAR BUMPER(for Wagon) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    1. Disconnect the 4 connectors.

      Adhesive Tape

      -

      -

    2. Remove the adhesive tape from the rear bumper assembly.

    3. Disengage the 4 clamps to remove the No. 2 luggage room wire.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  3. REMOVE NO. 3 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  5. REMOVE NO. 3 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  6. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD LH

      Remove the rear bumper pad LH.

  7. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  8. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH

      Disengage the 6 claws and remove the rear bumper extension LH.

    2. B411067

      Remove the screw.

    3. Disengage the claw.

    4. Disengage the guide to remove the reflex reflector assembly LH.

  9. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR BUMPER MOULDING

    1. B411068

      Remove the 2 clips.

    2. B411069

      Disengage the 10 claws and guide to remove the rear bumper guard with No. 2 rear bumper moulding.

    3. B411070

      Remove the 2 screws.

    4. Disengage the 10 claws to remove the No. 2 rear bumper moulding from the rear bumper guard.

  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. B350042

      Disengage the 4 claws and guide to remove the rear bumper side retainer LH.

  12. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  13. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

  14. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  15. REMOVE UPPER REAR BUMPER RETAINER LH

      Remove the screw and upper rear bumper retainer LH.

  16. REMOVE UPPER REAR BUMPER RETAINER RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  17. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH

      Remove the 3 clips and rear bumper side seal LH.

  18. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH

    1. B350236

      Remove the 3 clips and rear bumper side seal RH.

  19. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

      Remove the 8 bolts and No. 1 rear bumper reinforcement.

  20. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. B350045

      Remove the 3 bolts and rear bumper arm sub-assembly LH.

  21. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
