WATER PUMP REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

  2. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT

    Click here

  3. REMOVE WATER PUMP & CRANKSHAFT PULLEY V-RIBBED BELT

    Click here

  4. REMOVE ENGINE WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY

      Remove the nut and clamp from the engine water pump assembly.

    2. A324172

      Remove the 5 bolts.

      Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, remove the engine water pump assembly by prying between the cylinder block and engine water pump assembly.

      Note:

      Do not damage the contact surfaces of the engine water pump assembly and cylinder block.

    4. Remove the engine water pump assembly and water pump gasket.
