NOISE FILTER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM POCKET SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Partition Net)

  2. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover)

  3. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD

  5. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE COVER BASE LH

  6. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX LH

  7. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE (w/o Spare Tire, for Compact Spare Tire)

  8. REMOVE REAR DECK TRIM COVER (w/ Full Size Spare Tire)

  9. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 FLOOR MAT SUPPORT SIDE PLATE

  10. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY

  11. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  12. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

  13. REMOVE DECK TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER

  14. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH

  15. REMOVE RADIO SETTING CONDENSER

    Note:

    When the terminal cover is removed, the radio setting condenser must be replaced because the terminal cover and condenser are supplied as a set.

      Remove the bolt.

    2. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the radio setting condenser with wire harness from the vehicle body.

    3. E270054

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 claws and remove the terminal cover with wire harness from the condenser.

    4. Using a screwdriver, bend back and break off the claw as shown in the illustration.

    5. Remove the terminal cover from the wire harness.

      Note:
      • Make sure to hold the crimping side of the terminal when disconnecting the wire harness from the terminal cover.

      • Make sure not to bend the exposed wire when disconnecting the wire harness from the terminal cover.

      • Check for deformation of the terminal after the wire harness has been removed from the terminal cover.
