  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. A gate type shift lever that uses a transmission control cable assembly is used.

    2. The shift control mechanism consists of a shift lock control unit and a transmission control cable assembly.

    3. The shift lever used is a 5-position (P, R, N, D and M) gate type lever. The gate type shift lever operates on the single-shift operation principle (front-rear and side-to-side). Therefore, it does not require the use of a shift lever button, which is used on a straight type shift lever, and excels in ease of use.

    4. A shift lock release button is provided inside the shift lever housing in consideration of emergency situations. A cover is provided on the shift lock release button to prevent erroneous operation.
