DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR

    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / Adaptation Value of Differential Pressure at Particle Filter.

Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Data List

      Tester Display

Adaptation Value of Differential Pressure at Particle Filter

    5. Disconnect the No. 1 vacuum transmitting hose from the differential pressure sensor.

    7. Check the pressure value of the differential pressure sensor.

      Standard Pressure

Approximately the same pressure as the applied pressure is indicated on the GTS.

      Note:

Perform the inspection within the range of 0 to 98 kPa (0 to 1.0 kgf/cm2, 0 to 14.2 psi).

If the result is not as specified, check the differential pressure sensor circuit.
