CONDENSER(for 1WW) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

  2. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

    2. for HFO-1234yf(R1234yf):

  3. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. E183339

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge hose sub-assembly from the condenser assembly with receiver.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose sub-assembly.

      Note:

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  4. DISCONNECT AIR CONDITIONING TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY

    1. E183340

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly from the condenser assembly with receiver.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.

      Note:

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  5. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT

    1. E289363

      Remove the 2 bolts and 2 upper radiator supports.

    2. Remove the 2 radiator support cushions.

  6. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. E183342

      Remove the 2 bolts and upper radiator support sub-assembly LH.

  7. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Detach the clamp.

    2. E183343

      Remove the 2 bolts and upper radiator support sub-assembly RH.

  8. REMOVE CONDENSER ASSEMBLY WITH RECEIVER

    1. E183344

      Remove the condenser assembly with receiver as shown in the illustration.
