HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY(for LHD) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  2. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH

    Click here

  3. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A004HJI

      Remove the bolt and hood lock control lever sub-assembly.

    2. Disconnect the hood lock control cable assembly from the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE

  5. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. A004J42

      Remove the 3 bolts and hood lock assembly.

    2. Disconnect the hood lock control cable assembly from the hood lock assembly.

  6. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY


    1. Using a screwdriver, disengage 6 clamps shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. Pull the hood lock control cable assembly from the engine compartment and remove it.
