DESCRIPTION

DTC C1681 is stored if the parking assist ECU judges as a result of its self check that a synchronization problem is occurring in the image signal sent from the front television camera assembly to the parking assist ECU.

DTC C1682 is stored if the parking assist ECU judges as a result of its self check that there is a problem with the current supplied from the front television camera assembly connected to the parking assist ECU.

  1. CHECK FOR DTC

    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here

      Chassis > Panoramic View Monitor > Clear DTCs

    2. Check for DTCs.

      Click here

      Chassis > Panoramic View Monitor > Trouble Codes

      DTCs C1681 and C1682 are not output.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PARKING ASSIST ECU - FRONT TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY)

    1. Disconnect the a1 parking assist ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the Z5 front television camera assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Remove the parking assist ECU with the connector still connected.

    2. Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform.

      Tip:
      • A waterproof connector is used for the front television camera assembly. Therefore, inspect the waveform at the parking assist ECU with the connector connected.

      • The video waveform changes according to the image sent by the front television camera assembly.
