FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Manual Seat) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

      *1 Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

  2. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

      Remove the screw and vertical adjusting handle.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Remove the screw.

    2. w/o Lumbar Support:


      1. Disengage the 6 claws and clip, and remove the front seat cushion shield.

    3. w/ Lumbar Support:


      1. Disengage the 6 claws and clip.

      2. A005DGV

        Disconnect the connector.

      3. Disengage the 5 clamps and remove the front seat cushion shield.

  4. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Lumbar Support)

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

      Disengage the 5 claws and remove the front seat inner cushion shield.

  8. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      Disconnect the rubber band.

    2. A0059OA

      Disengage the fastener and separate the airbag wire harness.

    3. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the seat heater wire harness.

    4. A005D9L

      Disengage the 4 hooks.

    5. for 6 Way Seat Type:


      1. A0059ZQ

        Disengage the 2 hooks as shown in the illustration.

    6. for 4 Way Seat Type:


      1. A005AC7

        Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

    7. Disengage each hook and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad as shown in the illustration.

  9. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. A005ANG

      Remove the 2 hog rings.

    2. A005BD0

      Remove the 15 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

  10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. A005AWO

      Disengage the claw and 4 clamps to disconnect the airbag wire harness.

    2. for Front Passenger Side:


      1. A005EW0

        Disengage the guide and disconnect the belt warning occupant detection sensor.

    3. A0059YT

      Remove the 5 hog rings.

      *1 Fastening Rubber

      Remove the 3 hog rings and disconnect the fastening rubber.

    5. A005A53

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    6. A005E9R

      Turn back the separate type front seatback cover to remove the nut, and separate the bracket of the separate type front seatback cover.

    7. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad from the front seatback spring assembly.

  11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER


    1. A005CXL

      Remove the 5 hog rings.

    2. A005CFD

      Remove the 2 hog rings and disconnect the fastening rubber from the separate type front seatback pad.

    3. Remove the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

  12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  13. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

      Disengage the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  14. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

      Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    2. A005EMG

      Remove the screw.

    3. Disengage the clip and remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

  16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  17. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR


    1. A005BL8

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the No. 2 front seat cushion protector.

  18. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 front seat cushion protector.

  19. REMOVE NO. 2 SEAT WIRE (w/ Lumbar Support)


    1. for LHD:


      1. A005DSI

        Disengage the 4 clamps.

    2. for RHD:


      1. A005D9I

        Disengage the 2 clamps.

    3. A005ALM

      Disconnect the connector.

    4. Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the No. 2 seat wire with front seat wire.

    5. A005EPB

      Disconnect the connector to remove the No. 2 seat wire from the front seat wire.

  20. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY


    1. A005CM2

      Remove the 4 bolts and separate type front seatback spring assembly from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

  21. REMOVE SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE

      Disengage the 2 hooks and remove the seat track adjusting handle from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.
