THROTTLE BODY REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE CENTER NO. 4 ENGINE UNDER COVER

    Click here

  3. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine)

    Click here

  4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER

    Click here

  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH NO. 2 AIR CLEANER HOSE

      *a Wire Harness Clamp
      *b Clamp

      Disconnect the mass air flow meter sub-assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the wire harness clamp from the air cleaner cap with No. 2 air cleaner hose.

    3. Release the 4 clamps.

    4. Loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner cap with No. 2 air cleaner hose.

  6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY

      Slide the clip and disconnect the ventilation hose from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.

    2. Loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner hose assembly from the throttle body with motor assembly.

  7. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the throttle body with motor assembly connector.

      *1 No. 3 Water By-pass Hose
      *2 No. 2 Water By-pass Hose

      Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the No. 3 water by-pass hose and No. 2 water by-pass hose from the throttle body with motor assembly.

    3. Remove the 4 bolts and throttle body with motor assembly from the intake manifold.

  8. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY GASKET


    1. Remove the throttle body gasket from the intake manifold.
