FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat) INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 4 Seat belt unfastened Below 1 Ω
      1 - 4 Seat belt fastened 1 MΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the inner belt assembly.

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Seat belt is unfastened and more than 147 N (15 kgf, 33 lbf) of force is applied to occupant detection sensor Below 100 Ω
      1 - 2 Seat belt is fastened and more than 147 N (15 kgf, 33 lbf) of force is applied to occupant detection sensor 1 MΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the inner belt assembly.

  3. INSPECT OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1- 2 More than 147 N (15 kgf, 33 lbf) of force applied to occupant detection sensor Below 100 Ω
      1- 2 No force applied to occupant detection sensor 1 MΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the occupant detection sensor (front seat cushion pad).
