CLUTCH ACCUMULATOR(for Gasoline) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL CLUTCH ACCUMULATOR ASSEMBLY

    1. Temporarily install the clutch accumulator assembly to the manual transaxle assembly with the 3 bolts.

    2. C298599N01

      Tighten the 3 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      12 N*m

      122 kgf*cm

      9 ft.*lbf

    3. C280409C01

      Paint Mark

      Temporarily install the bleeder to accumulator tube labeled A and accumulator to flexible hose tube labeled B.

    4. Install the clamp with the bolt.

      12 N*m

      Tip:

      Align the clamp and paint mark as shown in the illustration and install the clamp.

    5. Using a 10 mm union nut wrench, tighten the bleeder to accumulator tube labeled A and accumulator to flexible hose tube labeled B.

      15 N*m

      153 kgf*cm

      11 ft.*lbf

      Note:

      Use the formula to calculate special torque values for situations where a union nut wrench is combined with a torque wrench (Click here).

    6. Connect the accumulator to flexible hose tube and clutch hose.

    7. C277990N01

      Install the clutch hose with a new clip labeled A.

    8. Using a 10 mm union nut wrench, tighten the accumulator to flexible hose tube labeled B.

      15 N*m

      153 kgf*cm

      11 ft.*lbf

      Note:

      Use the formula to calculate special torque values for situations where a union nut wrench is combined with a torque wrench (Click here).

  2. BLEED CLUTCH LINE

  3. INSPECT FLUID LEVEL

  4. INSPECT FOR FLUID LEAK

    Tip:

    Check for leaks in the clutch system.

  5. INSTALL BATTERY BRACKET REINFORCEMENT

  6. INSTALL REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH

  7. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
