PARKING SUPPORT BRAKE SYSTEM TERMINALS OF ECU


  1. CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the L18 clearance warning ECU assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance on the wire harness side connector according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      L18-1 (IG) - L18-30 (E) R - W-B IG power source signal Engine switch off Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (IG) 10.5 to 16 V

    3. Reconnect the L18 clearance warning ECU assembly connector.

    4. Measure the voltage, resistance and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

      • Engine running

      • Shift position in any position other than P

      • Vehicle speed is less than approximately 10 km/h (6 mph)

    5. Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 1.
