PURGE VALVE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL PURGE VALVE (PURGE VSV)


    1. Install the purge valve (purge VSV) with the screw.

      Torque:
      3.4 N*m  { 35 kgf*cm, 30 in.*lbf }
    2. A001WUJC01
      *1 Purge Valve (Purge VSV)
      *2 No. 1 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose
      *a 0 to 2 mm (0 to 0.0787 in.)
      *b Paint Mark
      *c Top of Vehicle

      Connect the No. 1 fuel vapor feed hose to the purge valve (purge VSV).

    3. Connect the purge valve (purge VSV) connector.

    4. A001VVWC01
      *1 Purge Valve (Purge VSV)
      *2 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose
      *a 0 to 3 mm (0 to 0.118 in.)
      *b 1 to 5 mm (0.0394 to 0.197 in.)
      *c Front Side of Vehicle
      *d 120°
      *e Paint Mark
      *f Top of Vehicle

      Connect the fuel vapor feed hose to the purge valve (purge VSV) and slide the clip to secure it.

      Tech Tips

      Engage the clip within the area shown in the illustration.
