BRAKE BOOSTER(for LHD) REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note:

Make sure to release vacuum from the brake booster assembly before removing the brake master cylinder sub-assembly from the brake booster assembly.

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR WITH BRACKET

  2. REMOVE VACUUM HOSE ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the vacuum hose assembly from the brake booster assembly.

      Pull Off

    2. Disengage the clamp to separate the vacuum hose assembly.

    3. Pinch the retainer of the vacuum hose assembly connector, and then pull the vacuum hose assembly connector off of the intake manifold.

  3. REMOVE PUSH ROD PIN

  4. REMOVE BRAKE BOOSTER ASSEMBLY

    1. C302760

      for 1KR-FE with Stop and Start System, 1PP:

      1. Disconnect the connector from the vacuum sensor assembly.

    2. C302704

      Remove the 4 nuts and brake booster assembly.

      Note:

      Do not apply excessive force to the brake lines.

  5. REMOVE BRAKE BOOSTER GASKET
