REAR LEAF SPRING (for 2WD) REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL REAR SPRING LEAF BUSH (except TMT Made Single Cab)


    1. A01E1ISE01

      Using SST and a press, install a new bush to the rear No. 1 leaf spring.

      SST

      09632-36010

  2. INSTALL REAR SPRING SILENCER


    1. Install the 4 rear spring silencers to the leaf spring.

  3. REASSEMBLE REAR SPRING ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the No. 1 spring spacer to the leaf spring.

    2. for TMT Made Extra Cab:

      Install the 2 rear No. 3 spring spacers to the leaf spring.

    3. for TMT Made Double Cab:

      Install the rear No. 3 spring spacer to the leaf spring.

    4. for TSAM Made:

      Install the 3 rear No. 3 spring spacers to the leaf spring.

    5. Secure the springs with a vise and install the center bolt and nut.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 425 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }
    6. A01E2H0

      Using a vise, caulk the 4 clips.

    7. Check that there is no gap between the spring clip and spring.

  4. INSTALL REAR LEAF SPRING SHACKLE UPPER BUSH


    1. Install 2 new bushes to the vehicle body.

  5. INSTALL REAR LEAF SPRING SHACKLE LOWER BUSH


    1. Install 2 new bushes to the spring side.

  6. INSTALL REAR LEAF SPRING PIN BUSH


    1. Install 2 new bushes to the spring side.
