FRONT CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE TIMING BELT

  2. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT TIMING PULLEY

      Remove the crankshaft timing pulley.

      If the timing pulley cannot be removed by a screwdriver, remove it with SST.

  3. REMOVE TIMING GEAR CASE OR TIMING CHAIN CASE OIL SEAL

      Using a knife, cut off the oil seal lip.

    2. Using a screwdriver, pry out the oil seal.

      Note

      Do not damage the crankshaft. Tape the screwdriver tip.
