ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER

  2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  5. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

    1. A204311

      Disconnect the connector from the engine coolant temperature sensor.

    2. Using a 19 mm socket wrench, remove the engine coolant temperature sensor from the cylinder head sub-assembly.

      Note:

      If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.

    3. Remove the gasket from the engine coolant temperature sensor.
