REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Combination Light Assembly LH)
      *b	Zone A
      *c	Zone B

      Check taillight illumination:

      
      

      1. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

         OK
         Tester Connection Specified Condition L82-2 (B) - Battery positive (+) L82-1 (E) - Battery negative (-) Taillights illuminate When result is not as specified: If zone A does not illuminate, check the rear combination light LED. If zone B does not illuminate, replace the rear combination light assembly LH.

   2. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Combination Light Assembly LH)
      *b	Zone A
      *c	Zone B

      Check stop light illumination:

      
      

      1. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

         OK
         Tester Connection Specified Condition L82-3 (STP) - Battery positive (+) L82-1 (E) - Battery negative (-) Stop lights illuminate When result is not as specified: If zone A does not illuminate, check the rear combination light LED. If zone B does not illuminate, replace the rear combination light assembly LH.

   3. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Combination Light Assembly LH)

      Check turn signal light illumination:

      
      

      1. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

         OK
         Tester Connection Specified Condition L82-4 (TRN2) - Battery positive (+) L82-6 (TRN) - Battery positive (+) L82-1 (E) - Battery negative (-) Turn signal light illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the rear combination light assembly LH.

2. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Combination Light Assembly RH)
      *b	Zone A
      *c	Zone B

      Check taillight illumination:

      
      

      1. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

         OK
         Tester Connection Specified Condition L81-2 (B) - Battery positive (+) L81-1 (E) - Battery negative (-) Taillights illuminate When result is not as specified: If zone A does not illuminate, check the rear combination light LED. If zone B does not illuminate, replace the rear combination light assembly RH.

   2. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Combination Light Assembly RH)
      *b	Zone A
      *c	Zone B

      Check stop light illumination:

      
      

      1. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

         OK
         Tester Connection Specified Condition L81-3 (STP) - Battery positive (+) L81-1 (E) - Battery negative (-) Stop lights illuminate When result is not as specified: If zone A does not illuminate, check the rear combination light LED. If zone B does not illuminate, replace the rear combination light assembly RH.

   3. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Combination Light Assembly RH)

      Check turn signal light illumination:

      
      

      1. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

         OK
         Tester Connection Specified Condition L81-4 (TRN2) - Battery positive (+) L81-6 (TRN) - Battery positive (+) L81-1 (E) - Battery negative (-) Turn signal light illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the rear combination light assembly RH.

3. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT LED

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Combination Light LED)

      Check illumination:

      
      

      1. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

         OK
         Tester Connection Specified Condition 3 - Battery positive (+) 2 - Battery negative (-) Illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the rear combination light LED.
