Note

Perform the following procedure only if the windshield outside sub moulding will be replaced with a new one without removing the windshield glass.

  1. REMOVE WINDSHIELD OUTSIDE SUB MOULDING

      Cut off both ends of the windshield outside sub moulding at the locations shown in the illustration.

      Standard Dimension
      Area Dimension
      a 11.0 mm (0.433 in.)

      Note

      Do not damage the roof window upper moulding.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    2. Cut the windshield outside sub moulding in the order shown in the illustration, to remove the windshield outside sub moulding.

      After cutting off the parts of the windshield outside sub moulding shown in the illustration above, do not remove the remaining windshield outside sub moulding from the windshield glass.
