FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Separate Seat Type)

    1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 2 claws and remove the outer seat track bracket cover.

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Bench Seat Type)


    1. A01DW5OE01

      Pull the inner belts out from the bottom of the seat cushion.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts.

    3. w/ Occupant detection sensor:

      Disconnect the connector under the seat.

    4. Remove the seat.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. w/ Seat Belt Warning System:


      1. A01DYJUE01

        Detach the clamp.

      2. A01DXLT

        Detach the wire harness from the clamp.

      3. Roll up over the front seat cushion cover LH.

      4. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly LH.

    2. A01DYN8

      w/o Seat Belt Warning System:


      1. Roll up over the front seat cushion cover LH.

      2. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly LH.

    3. Remove the front seat belt anchor plate.

    4. Remove the front seat cushion cover LH.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Separate Seat Type)

      w/ Front Passenger Seat Belt Warning System:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Detach the 2 clamps.

      3. A01DWRS

        Detach the wire harness from the clamp.

      4. Roll up over the front seat cushion cover RH.

      5. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly RH.

    2. A01DWSX

      w/o Front Passenger Seat Belt Warning System:


      1. Roll up over the front seat cushion cover RH.

      2. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly RH.

    3. Remove the front seat belt anchor plate.

    4. Remove the front seat cushion cover RH

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Bench Seat Type)


    1. A01DVCC

      Remove the bolt and front seat inner belt assembly RH.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LAP TYPE CENTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Bench Seat Type)

    1. Loosen the bolt and front seat lap type center belt assembly.
