PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE)


    1. Disconnect the L171 and L38 navigation receiver assembly connectors.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L171-7 (GND1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L171-4 (+B1) - L171-7 (GND1) Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      L171-3 (ACC1) - L171-7 (GND1) Power switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
      L38-1 (IG) - L171-7 (GND1) Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
