CLUTCH ACCUMULATOR(for Gasoline) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for 3ZR-FAE)

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for 2AR-FE, 3ZR-FE)

    Click here

  3. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH

    Click here

  4. REMOVE BATTERY BRACKET REINFORCEMENT

    for 2AR-FE for 1.6 kW Type:Click here

    for 2AR-FE for 1.7 kW Type:Click here

    for 3ZR-FAE:Click here

    for 3ZR-FE for 1.0 kW Type:Click here

  5. REMOVE CLUTCH ACCUMULATOR ASSEMBLY

    1. C277990

      Using a 10 mm union nut wrench, disconnect the accumulator to flexible hose tube from the clutch hose.

      Tip:

      Use a container to collect the fluid.

    2. Remove the clip and clutch hose from the clutch accumulator assembly.

      Using a 10 mm union nut wrench, loosen the bleeder to accumulator tube labeled A and accumulator to flexible hose tube labeled B.

    4. Remove the bolt, clamp, bleeder to accumulator tube and accumulator to flexible hose tube.

      Engine Wire

      for 2AR-FE:

      Remove the 3 bolts and clutch accumulator assembly from the manual transaxle assembly.

    6. for 3ZR-FE, 3ZR-FAE:

      Remove the 3 bolts, engine wire and clutch accumulator assembly from the manual transaxle assembly.
