  1. ILLUMINATION CONTROL SYSTEM (Illuminated Entry System)

    Tip:

    When inspecting the following functions, make sure that the map light door switch is on.

    1. The illuminated entry system has the following control functions:

      When the key is brought within any vehicle exterior detection area, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns on.

      • Engine switch illumination*1

      • No. 1 room light assembly

      Door Control Transmitter-linked

      When any door is unlocked using the transmitter, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns on.

      • Console box illumination light assembly*2

      Door Open-linked

      When any door is opened, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns on.

      Door Close-linked

      When all the doors are closed, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns off.

  2. BATTERY SAVING CONTROL SYSTEM

    1. The battery saving control system has the following control functions:

      • When the doors remain in the same condition for 20 minutes and the key is outside the vehicle exterior detection area, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns off.*1

      • When the doors remain in the same condition for 20 minutes and the key is not in the ignition key cylinder, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns off.*3

      • Console box illumination light assembly*2

      Interior light auto cut function

      The illumination of the items listed on the right will turn off 20 minutes after the ignition switch is turned off, regardless of whether the doors are open or closed and regardless of the map light switch position.
