AUXILIARY BATTERY INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL AUXILIARY BATTERY

   
   

   1. Install the auxiliary battery.

   2. Install the auxiliary battery clamp with the bolt and nut.

      Torque:

      Nut

      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

      Bolt

      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

   3. Connect the auxiliary battery hose.

      Tech Tips

      Push in the auxiliary battery hose to the auxiliary battery until a click sound is heard.

   4. Connect the auxiliary battery thermometer sensor connector.

   5. Connect the positive (+) auxiliary battery cable with the nut.

      Torque:

      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

   6. Install the auxiliary battery terminal cover.

2. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

   
   

   1. Connect the negative (-) auxiliary battery cable with the nut.

      Torque:

      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

      Note

      When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
