FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE MOULDING REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Tip:

  • Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

  • The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER OUTSIDE MOULDING LH

    Tip:

    When removing the front door lower outside moulding LH, heat the front door panel and front door lower outside moulding LH using a heat light.

    Front Door Lower Outside Moulding LH

    20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    Note:

    Do not heat the front door panel and front door lower outside moulding LH excessively.

      Detach the 6 clips.

    2. B338452

      Remove the hole plug and nut.

      Double-sided Tape
      V100155

      Protective Tape

      Put protective tape around the front door lower outside moulding LH.

    4. Using moulding remover D, remove the double-sided tape to detach the 8 clips and remove the front door lower outside moulding LH.

      Note:

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
