EXHAUST PIPE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (Sensor 2)

  2. REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

    1. A322690

      Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst).

    2. Remove the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the 2 exhaust pipe supports.

    3. Remove the gasket from the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst).

  3. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (TWC: Rear Catalyst)

    1. A426687

      Remove the 2 bolts, 2 compression springs and disconnect the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst) from the exhaust manifold (TWC: Front Catalyst).

    2. Remove the front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst) from the 2 exhaust pipe supports.

    3. Remove the gasket from the exhaust manifold (TWC: Front Catalyst).
