THROTTLE BODY REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

  2. REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE PROPELLER SHAFT WITH CENTER BEARING ASSEMBLY (for AWD)

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  5. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY

      Detach the 2 wire harness clamps to disconnect the wire harness from the wire harness bracket.

    2. Remove the bolt and wire harness bracket.

    3. Disconnect the throttle body with motor assembly connector.

      *1 No. 2 Water By-pass Hose
      *2 No. 11 Water By-pass Hose

      Slide the 2 hose clamps, and then disconnect the No. 2 water by-pass hose and No. 11 water by-pass hose from the throttle body with motor assembly.

      Remove the 8 bolts and No. 2 air tube and throttle body with motor assembly.

    6. Remove the 3 gaskets.
