DESCRIPTION
The seat belt control ECU receives crash information from the driving support ECU and skid control ECU via CAN communication and tightens the seat belt by operating the motor inside the front seat outer belt RH.
When DTC B2002 is stored, DTCs B2026 and B2027 are not stored.

During the initial check or with the engine switch on (IG), the seat belt motor RH circuit has an open (the voltage at terminal MOR+ is 8.5 V or higher and the voltage at terminal MOR- is below 2 V) for 1 second or more. |

The pretensioner is built into the front seat outer belt assembly RH. Be sure to follow the correct inspection procedure, as failure to follow the correct procedure (such as inspection of incorrect connectors) may activate the pretensioner.

CHECK FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH CIRCUIT

Disconnect the G34 ECU connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT RH - SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU)
Disconnect the G34 ECU connector.
Disconnect the Q3 belt connector.
Using a service wire, connect terminals Q3-1 (MOR+) and Q3-2 (MOR-) of the connector of the front seat outer belt RH.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
