The telematics transceiver detects an error in signals from the airbag sensor assembly when ignition switch is ON.

PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK DTC (AIRBAG SYSTEM)

    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait for 20 seconds.

    4. Turn the GTS on.

    5. Check if airbag system DTCs are output.

    1. Replace the telematics transceiver with a new one.

    1. Disconnect the E143 telematics transceiver connector.

    2. Disconnect the E14 airbag sensor assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
