VACUUM PUMP(for 6AR-FSE) ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. OPERATION CHECK

   
   

   1. Slide the clip and disconnect the union to check valve hose from the vacuum pump assembly.

   2. 

      *a	Vacuum Gauge
      *b	Plug

      Connect the hose of the vacuum gauge to the vacuum pump assembly.

   3. Start the engine and warm it up for more than 2 minutes.

   4. With the engine idling, check the vacuum of the vacuum pump assembly.

      Standard Pressure
      More than 86.7 kPa (650 mmHg, 25.6 in.Hg)

      Tech Tips

      If the result is not as specified, replace the vacuum pump assembly.

   5. Remove the vacuum gauge from the vacuum pump assembly.

   6. Connect the union to check valve hose to the vacuum pump assembly and slide the clip to secure it.
