DESCRIPTION

The pre-crash safety city sensor receives accelerator pedal position sensor signals from the ECM and determines whether acceleration is requested by the driver. When the ECM detects a malfunction in the accelerator pedal position sensor, the pre-crash safety city sensor is notified via CAN communication and this DTC is output.

Tip:

If DTC C1A63 is output by the pre-crash safety system, perform troubleshooting for the ECD/SFI system.
