DESCRIPTION

The front power window regulator motor assembly LH (for LHD) or front power window regulator motor assembly RH (for RHD) is operated by the power window regulator master switch assembly. The front power window regulator motor assembly LH (for LHD) or front power window regulator motor assembly RH (for RHD) has motor and ECU functions.

When the ECU determines that the front power window regulator motor assembly LH (for LHD) or front power window regulator motor assembly RH (for RHD) has not been initialized, DTC B2313 is stored.

  • Front power window regulator motor assembly LH (for LHD) or front power window regulator motor assembly RH (for RHD) not initialized

  • Front power window regulator motor assembly LH (for LHD) or front power window regulator motor assembly RH (for RHD) is malfunctioning

  • Battery disconnected when ignition switch is ON

  • Front power window regulator motor assembly LH (for LHD) not initialized

  • Front power window regulator motor assembly RH (for RHD) not initialized

  • Front power window regulator motor assembly LH (for LHD)

  • Front power window regulator motor assembly RH (for RHD)

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note:

  • DTC B2313 is stored in the front power window regulator motor assembly LH (for LHD) or front power window regulator motor assembly RH (for RHD).

  • If the battery is disconnected while the ignition switch is ON, DTC B2313 is stored.

  • If the front power window regulator motor assembly LH (for LHD) or front power window regulator motor assembly RH (for RHD) has been replaced with a new one, initialize the power window control system.

  1. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

    1. Initialize the front power window regulator motor assembly LH (for LHD) or front power window regulator motor assembly RH (for RHD).

  2. CHECK FOR DTC

    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Wait for at least 10 seconds, and then turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Check for DTCs.
